This is a feature for The Red & Black on students’ mental health at the University of Georgia. I interviewed UGA faculty about the counseling services offered on campus, students and therapists in the Athens area to understand how returning to campus affected students. This story placed third in the feature story category for the Fall 2021 Associated Press Clips & Clicks Awards. 
This is a profile for The Oglethorpe Echo on James “Junior” Jackson, the Oglethorpe County coroner. I interviewed Jackson about his life and career and spoke with his wife, friends and coworkers to get a clear idea of who he is and what he has done. I created a timeline of his career for clarity.
This is an event coverage of country music singer Conner Smith’s visit to Seacrest Studios at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. I observed the visit and performance, quoting his answers from the interview and detailing the event.
